I really appreciate ALL your help. Uh Oh I did the nero unistall It completely uninstalled it. Didn't give me a list, just uninstalled the entire thing. Hmmmmm not sure where I got it from either. Oh no!! I have dial-up and not by choice, so gonna take me a bit to get that downloaded to check.

Mine came with Roxio I think a friend loaned me nero. Can I do a restore and get it back? Ok thanks, I think I will just get the lastest version, maybe that will help fix my problem.

InCD can handle discs formatted by other packet writing software. However, InCD is not compatible with other packet writing software. You must uninstall any other packet writing packages prior to your InCD installation. A window is displayed with a message explaining this. The check box is to be found in the InCD Options dialog box for overall control, and in the drive properties InCD tab for per drive control.

It's probably a MS issue, but that isn't my problem. The old drive and Direct CD worked fine on the same system. Buy it if you like to waste time thinking you can make something work that doesn't and rebooting your system 15 times a night to find out changes didn't have any effect.

Think I've worn out my reset button. Poor package, shouldn't be sold at this stage of developement. I used to have lots of trouble with InCD, but now I have version 4. And it now works flawlessly on my W system!

It's almost as good as Adaptec's DirectCD used to be but which unfortunately is not supported anymore and does not work on newer drivers. Cant install the new vrsion either. It sucks mud. I have used InCD with Windows InCD blows my computer everytime I tried to copy anything into the disk. The tech support is worthless.
