With leadership embedded in the practice of management, the IMPM brings together experienced managers, executives and entrepreneurs from around the world to acquire the latest in management thinking from more than 50 professors at five leading business schools, learn from peer insights, create breakthrough thinking, and apply concepts back at the workplace for real impact.

Over 16 months, participants attend five modules of 10 days each. In person residencies are delivered by a consortium of leading business schools in the UK, Canada, India, Japan, and Brazil. The program builds on the experience and diversity of its participants, who have substantial management experience and come from a wide range of academic backgrounds. He has published 50 journal papers, 45 book chapters, 4 edited books, and one monograph. He teaches courses in business ethics, reflective practice, and organizational change management. He has published in the fields of strategy, marketing, international management and critical management studies in Brazil and abroad and been co-editor of International Management and International Relations: A Perspective from Latin America, by Routledge.

Jose teaches core courses on strategy and electives on Corporate Environmental Management, Sustainable Enterprises and Understanding Corporate Failures. His research interests include strategy formulation and implementation, crisis management and organizational renewal, corporate sustainability and corporate social responsibility management.

Jose has consulted with several private and public sector organizations, government agencies, state governments and international organizations.
