Same thing happens even when i try and run it as Administrator. This is beginning to get very frustrating and i am losing patience. I have read other posts from people regarding this and it seems the issue never gets resolved.

Or is your harddrive full? Both could cause such problems while installations. If you know someone else with a CD, you could try using that to see, if it's your CD.
Otherwise, it would be helpful if you'd post a bit of information about your OS. Windows probably, but which version? Is it fully updated?
