If anyone can suggest a free media server that is better than TVersity please do. Turn on your PS3 system and go to Settings. Scroll all the way down to the Network Settings. Go to Internet Connection Settings.

Just click OK here. In most cases you can just choose the easy setup here. The PS3 will try to find the easiest way possible to setup your connection.

Now choose your type of connection and follow the onscreen instructions. Since the internet connection is established you have to enable the Media Server Connection option. This is going to take a little while so be patient.

The screen will show you that a media server has been found. Now you will see your Streaming Device here. Next you can choose what media to play. You'll see all the music files that you're streaming from your Windows.
